The AMU Research Portal

The Knowledge Base/AMU Research Portal serves as a central platform for collecting, archiving, and searching information related to the scientific, research, and teaching activities of employees, doctoral candidates, and students of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań. The system was implemented in 2020 to improve knowledge management and to document the scientific and organizational achievements of the UAM academic community.

Through the Knowledge Base, users can search for and browse information concerning, among others:

  • scientific publications,
  • monographs and book chapters,
  • articles published in national and international journals,
  • grants and research projects,
  • reports and studies funded from public resources,
  • implementation and science communication activities,
  • scientific and organizational achievements of the Institute’s staff,
  • defended doctoral dissertations,
  • teaching activities,
  • Bachelor’s and Master’s theses completed within first- and second-cycle degree programmes.

The system also enables monitoring of the research activities of individual employees and research teams of the Institute of Human Biology and Evolution, supporting the presentation of current research directions, international collaborations, and the publication output of the Institute.

An important component of the system is the UAM Repository, where digital versions of materials documenting scientific and teaching activities are archived, including full texts of publications, monographs, reports, book chapters, and works constituting the basis for awarding academic degrees and titles.

The Knowledge Base/AMU Research Portal also plays an important role in supporting the evaluation of scientific activity and promoting the research achievements of the Institute of Human Biology and Evolution both nationally and internationally.
